Jake was raised on a family farm located in Gildford, MT. He helped his Dad on the farm until leaving for college in 1999. He attended the University of Montana for two years, and then attended Rocky Mountain College for three years, where he earned a Managerial Accounting degree. 

Jake and his family moved to Malta, MT in 2008 to work as an agent for PCI. Prior to living in Malta, he was a commercial insurance producer for Western States Insurance in Billings, MT. In 2015, Jake partnered with Aimee Salveson and became an owner of Phillips County Insurance. 

Jake specializes in all types of farm/ranch insurance, life insurance, and home and auto insurance. He enjoys visiting with customers about farming and ranching. 

Jake enjoys spending time with his family, coaching sports, and helping operate their family farm.
