Aimee grew up just north of Malta on the family farm/ranch still operated by her parents, Howard and JoAnn Hammond and brother-in-law and sister Wyatt and Andrea Lien. Aimee attended school and graduated from Whitewater High School in 1997 and then earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Communications from Rocky Mountain College.

Aimee began working as an agent at Phillips County Insurance in 2005. In 2015, Aimee and her brother in law Jake Stuart partnered to purchase the business.

Aimee specializes in crop insurance, including MPCI and Crop Hail.
